In need of a lot of exhibition space? De Rijtuigenloods offers you an exhibition floor of 2850 m² and 15 subspaces of 30 to 150 m². You will be able to receive up to 2,000 visitors and have plenty of space for stands, information squares and catering corners.
Your exhibition in a national monument
From visitors to exhibitors; they will be delighted by the decor you offer them. After all, De Rijtuigenloods is a national industrial monument with many authentic elements. A nice bonus: the exhibition complex is high and there is a lot of daylight.
Facilities and support
De Rijtuigenloods has large transport doors, making it easy to bring large objects and stands inside. You can also make use of three-phase electric power, modern technical facilities and catering facilities. In the run-up to your exhibition, you will receive support from experienced advisors. They will be happy to think along with you about the ideal exhibition set-up and share the best ideas from hundreds of exhibition organisers who have done this before you. They can also (if you wish) relieve you of your worries about stand construction or entertainment, for example.

De Rijtuigenloods is a convenient location because the building is on the ground floor, which makes it easy for exhibitors and visitors. The location can also be divided into several rooms so that an exhibition, a plenary setting, workshops and VIP reception can all take place simultaneously.

De Rijtuigenloods is located near motorways A28 and A1, and has ample free parking on site. To keep things moving in the right direction, we always provide parking assistance. Furthermore, De Rijtuigenloods is a 5-minute walk from Amersfoort Central Station, which is an important hub in the rail transport network of The Netherlands.

A great history
With more than 100 years of history of robust steel, impressive carriages and steaming horsepower, De Rijtuigenloods is a crown jewel of the Dutch industrial revolution. At the beginning of 1900, ’De Wagenwerkplaats’ was constructed in Amersfoort on a large area right at the track where train carriages were built and maintained. De Rijtuigenloods is one of the larger warehouses as a maintenance shed for train wagons. This is still clearly reflected in the different rails that run through the location, the hoists on the roof and the monumental overhead bridge above the parking lot. Currently these elements serve as a silent witnesses of the rich history of numerous events.
